作动词时：transport sth./sb. from  ··· to  ··· 把某物或某人从某地运到某地

eg. They transported the wheat from the farm to a mill.

做名词时： 运送；运输；交通工具

eg. My friend is using my car, so I have no transport.

prefer: vt. 更喜欢；选择某事物（而不选择其他事物）(preferred/preferring)

determine: vt. 决定；确定；下定决心

eg. 1). Attitude determines everything. 态度决定一切。

2). We determined to go to the railway station at once. 我们决定立刻去火车站。

determine on/upon (doing) sth.  决定做某事

determine to do sth.  决定做某事

     determine sb. to do sth. 使某人下定决心做某事

determined： adj. 坚定地；有决心的

eg. She was determined to go to Harvard University.

change one’s mind: 改变主意

eg. Maybe you’ll change your mind after thinking it over.

 也许你仔细考虑之后会改变主意。

make up one’s mind (to do) 下定决心（做某事）

eg. I have made up my mind to leave, and nothing you say will change it.
