一、教学内容(Teaching Content)

人民教育出版社普通高中课程标准试验教科书英语必修2 Unit1 Cultural Relics-- warming up and reading.

二、教学目标（Teaching Aims)

（1）知识目标(Knowledge Aims)

让学生了解cultural relics(文化遗产）的概念，学习Amber

Room（琥珀屋）的历史，掌握与琥珀屋相关的人物，时间，事件。通过阅读掌握相关单词与短语的用法，如cultural，relic，rare，valuable,fancy, style, decorate,in return，belong to,etc.

（2）能力目标(Ability Aims)

训练学生skimming和scanning的阅读技巧，提高学生归纳总结，善于提取有用信息的能力。在教学总过程中锻炼学生听、说、读、写各方面的技能，课堂教学活动也旨在培养学生独立思考和合作学习的能力。

（3）情感态度与价值观(Emotional Attitude and Point of Value)

通过学生参与英语教学活动，增强其学习英语的主动性和积极性；通过对世界几个著名景点的介绍，开拓学生的视野，并培养他们尊重历史，保护文物的意识。

三、教学重难点（Teaching Key and Difficult Points）

重点：了解cultural relic的概念和部分文物的英语表达。

难点：掌握Amber Room的历史。

5、教学过程(Teaching Procedures)

Ⅰ Lead in.导入 30秒

Use some pictures to lead in the lesson .

设计理念：用学生们熟知的一些文化遗产图片来渲染一种文化氛围并让学生把注意力迅速集中到课堂上。

Ⅱ The definition of cultural relic.文化遗产的概念 1.5分钟

Let students read the definition on the screen.

Then ask students to say some other cultural relics in the world.

设计理念：大声齐读这一教学活动能让全班同学都参与进来，达到资源共享的目的，有助于教师了解学生的课堂学习状态。

Ⅲ The history of Amber Room.琥珀屋的历史 6分钟

Learn the reading IN SEARCH OF THE AMBER ROOM.

First, find some detail information then retell the history of Amber Room.

Second,discuss whether it is worth rebuilding lost cultural relics such as the Amber Room or Yuan Ming Yuan.

设计理念：默读是一种个人活动，能培养学生独立思考的能力。

复述课文大意能让学生更好的掌握阅读内容并同时训练学生的口语表达能力。

话题讨论给学生提供了一个交流的平台，达到语言的交际功能。

Ⅳ The importance of cultural relics' learning and protection.文物学习与保护的重要性 1分钟

设计理念：这一部分是对这节课的升华，有助于培养学生正确的情感与价值观。

6、课后作业（Homework)

Let students write a 120-word passage about their familiar cultural relic.

Including its history, importance and so on.

设计理念：这项作业有助于培养学生活学活用，将知识转化为实际运用的能力。通过作业的反馈，有助于教师了解学生的掌握程度。

七、教学反思(Teaching Reflection)

课后从课堂师生和生生互动效果，学生听课情况，教学工具运用，调控课堂秩序，教师组织能力这几个方面对本节课进行教学反思。
