Designing offices is not just about following trends but now requires anticipating future trends in technology to influence the interiors of the future.

Demographics “Although there are marked differences worldwide, there is the challenge of an ageing population, with age and disability legislation giving them greater rights. Indeed, in the current downturn, many older people may have no option but to defer retirement. In the USA in 2009, there were 39.6 million people over the age of 65; by 2030, there will be 72.1 million. That’s going to be reflected in an ageing workforce and will have an impact on office design – from creating soft seating areas to giving people an ergonomic break from sitting at a desk to sit-stand desks that can be used either standing or sitting.”

As the green agenda evolves, it will also impact on space utilization – with companies adopting more flexible employment practices to further reduce carbon footprints.”

Office space interior design needs to consider various issues, such as science, technology, humanity and art. After gathering information from my case studies and some successful works, I found out the most popular desires employees and bosses are looking for. The thesis mainly from the perspective of the scientific, greening and intelligentize to analysis design trend of office.

一，科学化

在不少人心目中，室内设计似乎就是一种艺术设计，他们认为室内设计师关心的仅仅是美观。其实，这种观念是带有一定片面性的。现代室内实际理论指出：室内设计不仅是门艺术，而且是一门科学，当代室内设计的重点是在科学技术基础上追求艺术与技术的结合。室内设计的这一特点在办公空间的室内设计中表现的十分明显。

Scientific

Almost people think designer care only about artistically. In fact, interior design not only is an art, but also is a science. The focal point that interior design emphasized is based of scientific and technology to pursuing perfect union of craft and art.

办公空间室内设计的最大目标就是要为工作人员创造一个舒适，方便，卫生，安全，高效的工作环境，以便更大限度地提高员工的工作效率，使之为社会创造更多的财富。这一目标在当前商业竞争日益激烈的情况下显的更加重要，它是办公空间设计的基础，是办公空间设计的首要目标。而要实现“舒适”，“方便”，“卫生”，“安全”，“高效”这几项要求，则在很大程度上都需要依靠现代科学技术的新成就。

“舒适”涉及建筑声学，建筑光学，建筑热工学，环境心理学，人类工效学等方面的学科；“方便”涉及功能流线分析，人类工效学等方面的内容；“卫生”涉及绿色材料，卫生学，给排水工程等方面的内容；“安全”问题则涉及建筑防灾，装饰构造等方面的内容，因此从某种程度上可以说，正是这些自然科学与工程技术才构成了现代办公空间设计的重要基础形式之一。离开了理性的科学基础，任何优美的形式也难以满足办公空间的基本要求。

“Comfortable” involve architectural acoustics, architectural optics, architectural thermal engineering, environmental psychology and human engineering etc. “Convenience” involve streamline analysis of function and human engineering etc. “Health” involve green material, hygiene and plumbing work etc. “Safety” involve building disaster prevention and decoration structure etc. To some degree, these natural science and engineering technology are one of an important foundation pattern in modern office design.

二，绿色化

对自然的尊重是近年来提出的一种观念。随着全球生态危机的加剧，人类越来越体会到需要保护自然，保护生态环境，需要在设计中体现可持续发展的原则。1999年北京UIA大会发表的《北京宪章》中就指出：“走可持续发展之路是以新的观念对待二十一世纪建筑学的发展，这将带来又一个新的建筑运动。”在建筑界，走可持续发展之路已经成为人们的共识。这在室内设计领域也不例外，在室内设计中贯彻可持续发展的原则正成为广大室内设计师的共识。办公空间的绿色化涉及对自然的尊重和对人体健康的关注。从对自然的尊重而言，涉及到尽量引入天然采光和自然通风，尽量在办公空间内实现节能设计，通过一切技术手段减少办公空间对自然资源和能源的消耗，减少对自然的伤害，体现可持续发展的原则等内容。

Greening

A new “green” ethics is proposed in this transition. In 1999, Beijing architects 《北京宪章》 were convened by the General Assembly. That indicates our only choice relies on a harmonious development between man and nature and a sustainable and balanced regional development. The people working in the construction discuss often achieving sustainable development of discuss construction. For regard nature, that mean should involve with optimal provision of day-light, natural ventilation and as well as realize the optimization of design and energy saving as possible. Which decreases demands on office building and interior design and depletion of natural resources, and hence the likelihood of social unrest. Circulating Economy also is a new kind of economic development mode which can decrease depletion to natural resource and realize harmonic development of economy, environment and society.

当然，办公空间的绿色化也表现为尽量在内部空间引入自然元素，环境心理学的研究表明；室内自然景观可以满足人类向往自然的天性，具有缓解工作压力和获得理想视觉景观的作用。因此，我们可以尽量通过运用植物，山石和水体营造富有自然气息的人工环境，为广大员工提供良好的工作环境。

三，智能化

便携式电脑和网络技术的发展使人们的办公形式发生了很大的变化，据国际著名的策划公司DEGW统计，目前大约有20%——30%的白领人士处于流动状态，这些白领在全市，全国甚至全球范围内奔走，因此如何为这些白领人士提供一个舒适的工作环境就成为值得思考的问题。为了应对这一趋势，不少设计师都进行了尝试。例如：美国海沃氏家具公司（Haworth）和上海瑞安集团就试图通过公共区域，半公共区域和私密区域的划分来应对办公智能化的趋势。

Intelligentize

总之，进入二十一世纪以来，我国写字楼市场的竞争日趋激烈，如何通过楼宇内部空间的合理设计提升办公空间的品质已经成为开发商和业内人士的共识。本文提出的三种趋势相信能成为当代办公空间室内设计的对策，为广大设计师提供有益的参考。
