Earth's provides enough to satisfy every man's need but not every man's greed.

The earth provides rich resources for us. Fresh water, forests, lands, biological resources, minerals and fossil fuels, the six major natural resources can provide raw materials for people to make clothing, food, buildings, transportations and medicines. However, not everybody just takes the quantity that they need. Instead, they take much more form the Earth just to satisfy their greed. Firstly, many factories keep releasing exhaust gases and wastewater directly to obtain more wealth. Secondly, excessive deforestation fills people's demand for timber. what's more, for the sake of food，human do large amounts of reclamation and grazing. In addition, illegal hunters hunt and kill animals just for their bones, feathers, teeth. Last but not least, human have been keeping mine ores excessively.

Many consequences spring up, and the environment of earth has been broken seriously. The instances are as follows. For one thing, water and atmosphere has been polluted badly. For another thing, global warming could eventually lead two poles of glaciers melt, and all kinds of natural disasters will follow. Additionally, the ozone hole implies the natural barrier is broken, and human is likely to be exposed under the relentless cosmic rays. What’s more, soil erosion and degeneration of grassland become more serious, and forest ecological system be imbalance. That is to say, biodiversity has been damaged. Energy will dry up.

Resources and environment is the basic condition of human survival. It goes without saying that greed will destroyed human. It's about time we love nature, treated nature well. Only in the way of dealing with the relationship with the ecological environment seriously, and taking the path of sustainable development unswervingly, can we achieve the harmony of man and nature.
