《如果》这段文字是英国诗人诺贝尔文学奖获得者拉迪亚德·吉卜林写给他年仅12岁的儿子的励志诗，曾被译成27国语言作为学习的教材，许多人特别是方向迷茫但力图上进的人，常以此勉励自己，激发前进的动力。据说如果你在每天清晨读一遍这首诗，你将成为高尚的人；如果你在每天晚上读一遍这首诗，你将成为圣洁的人。

如果在众人六神无主之时
你能镇定自若而不是人云亦云

如果在被众人猜忌怀疑之日
你能自信如常而不去枉加辩论

如果你有梦想，又能不迷失自我
