good morning, ladies and gentemen. this is li hua from senior three. i’m here today to share with you a good lesson from an overseas chinese student living in germany. it is a true story.

what was wrong you might wonder? the truth is, shortly aften he arrived in germany, this clever student found that it was easy to skip buying subway tickets. so, to save money, he often went without a ticket. as a result, he had been caught without a ticket in the subway three times.

from this story, we learn that we may get short-term benefits by dishonest means, but the truth will come out sooner or later and the cost is high. so remember: honest is the best policy.

honesty is the best policy

today i read an instructive speech, in which the speaker argues that honesty is the best policy by telling us a true story about an overseas chinese student who couldn’t find a job because of his dishonest records. i can’t agree with the speaker more. honesty means all the difference between success and failure. honesty will eventually bring people benefits while dishonesty may bring people short -term benefits but will surely bring disasters to them in the long run.

actually the case. the company made a lot of money by such dishonest means. but when the scandal was disclosed, not only did the company have to close down, but also some officials concerned were sent to prison. honesty is important in our study and future career .therefore, we should always remember honesty is the best policy and promise to be honest all our life.

good health enables us to do what we want to do in our career. but bad health gives nothing. even though you have little money, you can still live a happy life with a healthy body.

so, how to keep healthy? first of all, taking exercise every day helps us build a strong body. regular exercise is an important part of keeping me healthy. besides, keeping a happy and optimistic mood everyday is also a good way to stay healthy.

in order to eat healthily, i usually avoid eating food high in fat, like french fries or cookies. i eat a lot of vegetables and fresh fruit which are full of vitamins.
