Busbar supports
Plastic shall be UL Recognized and meet the requirements for the direct support of live parts:
a. RTI of 105°C
b. CTI of 3 or better (2, 1 or 0)
c. Flame rating of 94V-2, V-1 or V-2.
- If rated V-2, HAI of 2 (or 1 or 0) and HWI of 2 (or 1 or 0)
- If rated V-1, HAI of 2 (or 1 or 0) and HWI of 3 (or 2, 1 or 0)
- If rated V-0, HAI of 3 (or 2, 1 or 0) and HWI of 4 (or 3, 2, 1 or 0)
d. Pass VDE's Ball Pressure Test at 125°C and Glow Wire Test.
Shields for the reduction of spacings
Plastic shall be UL Recognized and meet the requirements for the indirect support of live parts:
a. RTI of 105°C
b. CTI of 4 or better (3, 2, 1 or 0)
c. Flame rating of 94V-2, V-1 or V-2.
- If rated V-2, HAI of 2 (or 1 or 0) and HWI of 2 (or 1 or 0)
- If rated V-1, HAI of 2 (or 1 or 0) and HWI of 3 (or 2, 1 or 0)
- If rated V-0, HAI of 3 (or 2, 1 or 0) and HWI of 4 (or 3, 2, 1 or 0)
d. 0.71 mm (0.028") thick, or no thickness requirement and withstand a 5000V hipot,
or 0.33 mm (0.013") thick and withstand a 2500V hipot.
Cables - Wire shall be UL Recognized Component (AVLV2). Cable manufacturer shall be UL Recognized for Wire Harnesses (ZPFW2).
Fast-on connector shall be a UL Recognized Quick-Connect Terminal (RFWV2). Connector shall be UL Recognized (ECBT2).
NAM Whips - Cable shall be UL Listed, TC-ER (Tray Cable for Exposed Runs). Connector shall be UL Listed. Sense wires must be UL Recognized Component (AVLV2). Cable assembler shall be UL Recognized for Wire Harnesses (ZPFW2). The connector/cable combination shall be evaluated and strain relief tested by UL to UL 817 "Cord Sets and Power-Supply Cords".
NAM MCCB - Circuit breaker shall be Listed to UL 489, Certified to CSA C22.2 No. 5, CE Marked to IEC 60947-2.
WW MCCB - Circuit breaker shall be Listed to UL 489, Certified to CSA C22.2 No. 5, and Certified by a Certification Body (CB) to IEC 60947-2.
EMEA MCCB - Circuit breaker shall be Certified by a Certification Body (CB) to IEC 60947-2.
EMEA RCBO - Residual current operated circuit-breaker with integral overcurrent protection shall be CE Marked and Certified by a Certification Body (CB) to IEC 61009-1.
Series Rated - Circuit breaker shall be Series Connected by UL (DKSY2) with a 20A Merlin-Gerin (SquareD) Multi9 circuit breaker.
Lug - Shall be: UL Listed, CSA Certified, tin plated, provided with rotation prevention; and tightened with a 5/16 inch (8 mm) hexagonal (Allen) wrench.
Splice - Shall be UL Listed and CSA Certified.
Door-mount LED / Neon - Shall be UL Listed and CSA Certified.
Printed Circuit Board - Shall be UL Recognized Component (ZPMV2), rated V-0, 130°C minimum.
Card edge connector - Shall be UL Recognized Component (ECBT2) and CSA Certified.
EMEA Powercord - "Cord shall be Harmonized, marked
EMEA Whip - "Cord shall be Harmonized, marked
Internal electric shock barriers: Plastic material shall be UL Recognized, flame rated V-2 or better (V-1, V-0, 5V).
EMEA Rotary Switch: Shall be CE Marked and tested to IEC 947-1 and IEC 947-3.
Labels - Label shall be a UL Recognized Component (PGDQ2), suitable for application to an unpainted sheet metal surface, located in an indoor, max 40°C environment, with occasional exposure to water or high humidity.
Heat Shrink Tubing - Tubing shall be UL Listed or Recognized & CSA Certified, rated a minimum of 105°C and flame-rated VW-1.
Circuit Breaker Module - Manufacturer shall build product and perform Production Line Testing (Electric Strength, Ground Continuity) in accordance with the UL Follow-Up Procedure. Manufacturer shall contract with UL Follow-Up Services for inspection of factory and manufacturing process.
Filler Plate - The plastic shall have a minimum thickness of 2.4 mm, and be acceptable for the indirect support of uninsulated live parts.

(ODIN) Insulating Barriers used with a minimum air space of 0.013 inch (0.33mm) for the reduction of spacings shall have the following properties:
- UL Recognized Component
- Min thickness of 0.028" (0.71mm)
- Max Carbon Tracking Index (CTI) of 4
- Min Electrical Relative Thermal Index (RTI Elec) of 105°C
- If flame-rated V-2, max High Current Arc Ignition (HAI) of 2 and Hot Wire Ignition (HWI) of 2
- If flame-rated V-1, max HAI of 2 and HWI of 3
- If flame-rated V-0, max HAI of 3 and HWI of 4
Current Transformer (Electrician Installed) - Transformer is field installed, hence subject to mechanical abuse, so it shall be provided with either a molded-plastic enclosure or a molded-plastic "cup" and potted. Plastic shall be molded from UL Recognized Component Plastic, rated V-0 minimum. Potting material shall be UL Recognized Component Plastic, rated V-0 minimum. Transformer shall have a minimum Inside Diameter of 12 mm (0.47 inch) to fit over the field-installed conductors.
Fast-On Terminals - Shall meet the requirements of IEC 1210 "Connecting Devices - Flat quick-connect terminations for electrical copper conductors - Safety requirements"
Cord and connector shall be PSE Certified.
Label shall either be plastic or paper with a plastic cap.
Cable assembler shall be UL Recognized for Wire Harnesses (ZPFW2).
The cable/connector combination shall be evaluated and strain relief tested to UL 817 "Cord Sets and Power-Supply Cords".
Cable assemblies shall be 100% tested for Continuity, Phasing and Electric Strength:
- 2 kVac, 50 or 60 Hz, for 1 second, between Line Conductors (phases, neutral) with no arc over or flash over.
- 2 kVac, 50 or 60 Hz, for 1 second, between each Line Conductor (phases, neutral) and Protective Earth / Ground with no arc over or flash over.
- Verify continuity of phase conductor to connector's phase terminal.
- Verify continuity of neutral conductor to connector's neutral terminal.
- Resistance shall not exceed 0.1 Ohm when 25 A is applied from the Protective Earth conductor to the connector's Protective Earth terminal.
Voltage Drop shall be limited to 2%.
Flag Labels - Label shall be supplied by a UL Recognized Component Authorized Label Supplier (PGAA).
Label material shall be CSA Certified and a UL Recognized Component Marking and Labeling System Material (PGGU2).
Label material shall pass the Permanence of Cord Tag Test specified in Clause 67 of UL 1778, 2nd Edition.
