Mid-autumn Day

Mid-autumn Day is a Chinese festival. It usually comes in September or October .On that day we usually eat a big dinner and mooncakes. It is said "Hou Yi" missed his wife, so he made mooncakes. It looks like the moon. Families stay outside in the open air eat a big dinner and mooncakes. The most important thing is looking at the moon, on that day, the moon looks brighter and rounder. We call this moon the full moon. On that day, families get together. This is Mid –autumn Day. I love it very much.

National Day

Oct.1st is the national day of China. On 1949 Oct. 1st, was the first year of the national day of China. At that time, people were very happy, because China has been free, the war has just stopped. We were the winner! Then every year of this day, people put the national flag out to celebrate. At the capital of China--Beijing, there is a lot of people to parade and celebrate in the national day. Everybody was happy and very exciting.

Halloween

Halloween is on October 31st .People usually dress up in costumes and go to parties. It was fun! Halloween is one of the world’s oldest holidays, celebrated in several countries around the globe including the USA, Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland, Mexico and Spain.

Christmas day

Christmas day is on December 25th, people around the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Some people celebrate by giving gifts. All the children like Christmas gifts. People also may be going to church with their families. All the people always decorate a Christmas tree, and sing and dance at home on Christmas day.
