A computer and some pictures

五、Teaching procedures:

Step1、Greetings

Step2、Sing an English song 《How is the weather?》

Step3、Learning

1、将学生分为四大组,分别代表sunny rainy cloudy windy,师与每组问候

2、To learn the word: sunny

(Computer show)

T: Look! The sun is shining. The birds are singing. Oh! What’s the weather like? It’s sunny.

S: Sunny Sunny

T: We can act like this (师五指分开,收拢,分开,代表sunny)

3、To learn the word: Rainy

(Computer show)

T: Listen! 哗啦啦,Oh, it’s raining. What’s the weather like? It’s rainy

S: Rainy Rainy

T: Do you want to act?

生尝试用手势表演Rainy(十指向下,微微颤动,作下雨状)师及时鼓励

4、To learn the word: Cloudy

(Computer show)

5、To learn the word: Windy

(Computer show)

Practice 1

师用手势代表单词,生看手势猜词

Practice 2

游戏:Bounce, bounce the letter S, …

每组请一名学生,代表自己队,听师口令,看谁反应快,逐个淘汰,坚持到最后的为胜利者。

6、To learn the sentences

(1)、出示单词卡片weather,师示范发音

(2)、学习句子

T:(师指窗外)What’s the weather like today? (出示图片)It’s sunny.

生跟读句子

Practice

师将图片藏在身后,问:Guess, what’s the weather like?

生:It’s sunny/rainy/cloudy/windy.

Step4、Playing

(Computer show)

出示全国地图,鼠标指到某处,显示该城市的天气情况。

小组练习,以打电话的方式模拟询问播音员天气的情景。

小组汇报

S1:Hello!

S2:Good morning!

S1:What’s the weather like in Beijing/ Chongqing /Shanghai?

S2:It’s sunny/rainy/cloudy/windy.

S1:Thank you.

S2:Good bye.
