1. see sb. do sth. 表示“看见某人做了某事” 强调动作的全过程,常与every day; often等连用.

see sb. doing sth. 表示 “看见某人正在做某事“强调动作正在进行.

试填空:

I often see him pictures near the river. 我常看见她在河边画画.

I saw her across the street. 我看见她过了马路

I saw her across the street. 我看见她正在过马路.

2. join sb. 表示 “ 加入某人的行列 ” “和某人在一起” join + 组织 表示 “ 参加某个组织” take part in 表示 “ 参加某项活动”如:

Will you join us?

I will join the rowing club.

She is planning to take part in the high jump.

3. arrive in /arrive at/ reach/ get to

(1) What time did he arrive _______ the village?

arrive in + 大地点 到达某国家或大城市

arrive at + 小地点，到达某个具体的地点，如城镇、车站、乡村、建筑物等。

get 是不及物动词，其后接介词to.

reach + 地点到达，抵达，是及物动词，后面直接接宾语，无须介词。

试填空: My uncle arrived Beijing yesterday.

I arrived the Great Wall. = I got to the Great Wall. = I reached the Great Wall.

注意: reach here/there/home = get here/there/home

=arrive here/there/home

4. leave/ leave for/ leave... for

leave…离开某地 leave for…动身去…/离开去…（常用现在进行时态表示计划好的的动作）leave... for..表示离开…去…。

5.how long 表示“多久(时间)”; 提问时间段 .how often 表示 “多常; 多久一次”; 提问频率.

试填空: They will stay in Beijing for a week. → will they stay

in Beijing?

He plays basketball twice a week. → does he play

basketball?

6. play with /play against /play for

(1) Our team will _______ Class Three next Saturday.

【分析比较】 play with 玩耍，游戏，玩乐，与……玩耍。(2)题意为"孩子们在玩球", 故填playing with。

play against 同……比赛。(1)题意为"两个队比赛＂，故填play against。

play for 为……效力。(3)题意为"易建联在NBA为达拉斯小牛队打球吗?",故填play for 。

7.be good at (doing) sth. = do well in (doing) sth. 擅长于(做)某事

试填空: She is good at (playing) baseball. = She (playing) baseball.
