I wish to study in Canada at the University of Ottawa and in Master of Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering because firstly，the education degree of Canada is internationally recognized. The development of industry in Canada is better than China.Canada Is the earliest establish diplomatic relations with China. This means I can have a friendly environment which allows me to study the The world first-class technology .加拿大是西方工业7国之一，他的教育学位为国际认可，留学加拿大可以学到世界一流的科学技术。加拿大与中国一直保持友好的关系，是最早与中国建立外交关系的。Secondly，渥太华大学在加拿大是排在前十名的医博类著名大学，并且地处加拿大首都的市中心。渥太华大学也被称为加拿大的大学，它采用两种加拿大的官方语言—英语和法语教学，是在学习专业知识的同时，亲身感受加拿大多元文化氛围的最佳场所。Thirdly, Master of Engineering是非常适合我的学位。Master of Engineering用不到两年的时间就能读完，并且学生专业知识面寬，就业面广。而在中国国内读工科硕士学位，学制要三年，其中大量学时要用在政治和英语等非专业课程上，英语能力还难以有效提高。Finally, I like computer when I was just a child. I still remember my very first introduction to computers in middle school, but at the time I just played computer games. For me, it was so amazing that I was very interested in learning more about the How’s and the Why’s of this terrific device. As I learned more about it, I began to think why not try to create the games instead of just playing games. I have been truly wandering in the wonderful world of the computer since then. I was very good at math in high school, which helped me a lot to study computers in the following years. And I also was given the opportunity write a program named Style Box Games during my high school.

Studying Abroad is very hard ,you have to make your work and your life good at the same time. I have the confidence to reach my goal after studying in Canada.

My overall educational goal is to study abundant knowledge and become a professional specialist in Environmental Engineering. Apart from acquiring advanced research skills and methodologies, I want to grasp the wonderful opportunity to broaden my horizons and cultivate global thinking ways. Improving my English efficiently in Canada is also my goal, as English is the first working language in international business and also is one of the official languages of Canada. Moreover, I plan to develop a character allowing me to enter society with full confidence upon my graduation. With the opportunity, I am sure I will achieve my goal when completing my Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering in Canada.

3.This Canadian Master of Engineering will help me achieve my goal because the industry and economy of China are developing at a high speed. According to the data from Ministry of Industry and Information of China, in 2010 China’s overall output of ten non-ferrous metals is about 26.81 million ton with an increase about 5.8%. It is inspiring that my motherland will present real opportunities to someone returning to her armed with a first-rate Canadian graduate education. After my return to China, I expect to start my career in a joint venture or multinational company, such as Alcoa and ArcelorMittal, both of which show an urgent demand of well-trained professionals with advanced technical background, great English proficiency and broad international perspectives. So I will have better opportunities in the Chinese labor market and greater chances to eventually take up a leading position in an area of China’s industries, just like my alumnus WANG Chuanfu- the preside of BYD, who is the richest Chinese according 2010 Rupert Hoogewerf Report.
