Where's the Post Office?

（第一课时）

教学目标：
１、知识目标：能结合场所名称和职业名称进行对话练习。学会单词“邮局（post office)”、“警察（policeman）”、“问（ask）”;
２、能力目标：培养学生听、说英语的能力，让学生知道遇到困难的时候要找警察叔叔；
３、情感目标：培养学生学习英语的兴趣；

教学重难点：
１、学会“邮局（post office)”、“警察（policeman）”、“问（ask）”三个单词；
２、会用“Where's the…？”问路，会用“There's a …….”造句。

教学流程：
Step1、导入

１、问候。
T:Hello.How are you? What season is it ? Do you like spring ? very good!

２、复习。
 教师拿出单词卡片：park/library/department store/hospital/  /teacher/student/doctor要求学生用Chant将单词说出来。

Step2、展开：１、Pre-listening教师指导学生看图：“Look at the picture.Who are they?---They'are my friends Lili and Ken. Where are they going ? Let's listen to the tape .”

２、While-listening
３、Post-listening
检查学生理解程度。
1、教师走到学生中间练习用英语打招呼，主要句子有：Hi.Hello.How are you?-I'm fine,thank you. Nice to see you.-Nice to see you,too.
2、教师出示：Where's…？的句型，让学生反复读，造句。例： Where's Wangwang? 

教师出示：Where's the …？句型，学生反复读过之后粘贴到黑板上。再拿出已学习过的表示场所的单词卡片，组成句子，那么就是我们今天要学习的用英语怎样问路。

教师出示单词：post office。教师指导学生发音之后，让学生开火车读，代入句子读，之后把单词卡片也粘贴到黑板上。

Play a game :up up up loud loud loud .   Chant!

3、可是肯并不知道，他怎么说？“Well,I don't know.”加上手势，开火车读。Chant!

4、教师出示单词：policeman。教师指导学生发音之后，教师加进敬礼的手势，让学生跟老师学，开火车读。教师出示句子：There's a …….把单词代入句子读。

5、教师出示单词：ask。教师示范发音后让学生开火车读单词。教师出示句子：Let's ask him. 告诉学生是“让我们问问他吧！”的意思。教师出示“her”和“them”替换练习。也可以用人名替换。

４、Let's Chant!(Now,let' chant with the tape.)

５、Practice
1、同桌俩人分角色练习。（A student is Lili,another is Ken.)
2、Role play.

学习内容：

Where’s the post office?

Well, I don’t  know.

Oh, there ‘s a policeman.

Let’s ask him.

教具：表示场所的各种图片。

方法： 通过教师演示动作及出示图片和单词卡片，确认学生对句子的理解程度。

A．在Where’s___________? 这一句子的横线上可以填上那些单词？请思考一下。

出示表示场所的多种图片，练习句子。

Where is the school?

Where’s the hospital?

Where’s the library?

B. 出示学校图片，问：Where is the school?

接着，学生回答：Well , I don’t know.

变换图片继续练习。教师出示警察图片，学生说：There’s a policeman.

利用上述方法反复进行多种说话练习。

There’s a teacher.

There’s adoctor.

C. 结合以上练习，进行下列句子练习。

Where’s the library?

Well ,I don’t know.

Oh, there is a teacher. Let’s ask her.

Where’s the school?

Well, I don’t know.

Oh, there’s a policeman, Let’s ask him.

Step3、整理：

1、单词用long chant复习一遍。
2、句子用chant复习一遍。
3、告别：Good-bye,students.Have a nice day.

Lesson 7 Where is the Post Office? (第二课时)

教材分析

本单元为教材的第七单元，所涉及的内容是关于讯问地点用语，这一单元的内容承接了上一册书中关于讯问地点的知识，实质为巩固单元。本节课为这一单元的第一课时，主要的学习内容是询问地点的正确表述方式。

学生分析

相关知识、经验基础：

 在本课中学生所要接触的知识曾经在上一册书中学习过，较为简单，对于学生来说，会感觉到轻松，他们会比较愿意参加到教学活动中来。本节课为这一单元的第二课时，继续巩固上一节课学习内容。

学习困难与帮助：

在学习扩展部分加入了几个公共场所名称，其中“超市”和“消防队”会让学生在识记和拼读方面感到棘手，鉴于这两个词为三会词，只要求学生听辨、会说、能够认读既可。

教学目标

1、单词：over there / excuse

2、句子：

It’s over there.

Excuse me.

I can see it.

3、能在互相交流中，体会语言交际的快乐，并学会自主学习，自我总结。

教学流程

Step 1、热身问候

1、Good morning boys and girls.

2、Free talk

T: How are you today?

 How’s the weather like today?

设计意图：通过简单的问候使学生的情绪得以放松，快乐的进入到英语学习的殿堂，激发学生的学习热情。

Step 2、复习导入

1、创设情境:We are in the Centre Street.

2、出示相应图片，复习已有单词和句型。

Where’s the ……

hospital / library / bookstore / bakery / post office

3、导入新句型

It’s over there.

设计意图：通过创设“We are in the Centre Street.”的教学情境，使学生感觉知识贴近与生活，激发学生的学习热情，学习欲望。同时将书本上的知识找到可以依托的情境也可以有效帮助学生快速学习英语知识。

Step 3、新知传授

1、It’s over there.

游戏：Where’s the door/window/blackboard?

TPR   One buy one.

2、由Can you see it? 引导学生学习“I can see it.”

游戏：TPR   One buy one.

3、由向学生问路，引导学生理解“Excuse me.”

游戏：TPR   One by one.

Step 4、巩固操练

1、同桌间对话练习

2、Listen to the tape. 分角色朗读课文。

3、扩充单词：supermarket / fire station.

4、创编对话，进行表演。

Step 5、Homework

“将今天所学的知识告诉给爸爸妈妈，看看自己能说出多少地点名称”

设计意图：使学生可以将从书本上学到知识点熟练的运用到日常生活当中。同时，掌握本课时中出现的新词组、新句型，使学生能够将所学知识应用到日常语言交际中，使学生的知识面得以扩展，学习能力得到提高，进而全面完善自己的课堂教学。

Lesson 7 Where is the Post Office?.(第三课时)

教学目标：
知识目标：

1、是使学生熟练掌握在邮局、银行场合中能够运用相应的知识进行交往。

2、特殊疑问句：  How long does it take? May I help you?

能力目标：

1．提高学生听、说、读、写的能力。

2．培养学生自主探知的能力和归纳总结的能力。

 情感目标：

1．激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

2．在公共场合恰当使用文明用语。

教学重点：

教学难点：

学生在模拟的邮局、银行场合中能够运用相应的知识进行交往。

教学流程：
一、导入新课
1．Greetings: Say hello to students.

T： How are you?

Ss: I’m fine ,thanks.

２、复习。

教师拿出单词卡片：may/help/want/send/take/days   要求学生用Chant将单词说出来。

Step2、展开：

１、Pre-listening

教师指导学生看图：“Look at the picture. Where are they? They are in the post office.

Let's listen to the tape .”
 ２、While-listening

 检查学生理解程度。

May I __________ ? 是表示询问或请求时的语气。与此类似的有 would/could/ you +（动作） ？

问“需要帮忙吗？” 你要回答：“我想…… ” 就说：” I want to +(动词) + it.’

Take 一般以it为主语。表示做某些事情需要多长时间，相当于“需要多少时间”。

About 同数词一起表示“大约……”的意思。

５、Practice

学习内容：

方法：

A．进行Role Play之前，要每个学生准备一张纸，在纸上列出准备给远方朋友邮寄礼物的单子。

B．通过抛色子或硬币，确定邮局职员和顾客的角色。 然后一起进行邮寄表演。

1、单词用long chant复习一遍。
2、句子用chant复习一遍。
3、告别：Good-bye,students.Have a nice day.
