Civility, makes you better

尊敬的老师、亲爱的同学们：

大家早上好!今天我国旗下讲话的主题是: “文明礼貌，让你更受欢迎”。

Good morning, my dear teachers and schoolmates. Today our topic is “Civility, makes you better”

记得有人说过：“人，一撇一捺，写起来轻易做起来难。我们要常常思考：我在做什么?我做得怎样?我要成为怎样的人?”做怎样的人，一百个人会有一百种答案，但在每一个谜底的背地都有一个基点，那就是做人首先要做一个文明的人。

There was someone who said: "Person, it’s much earlier to write than to be. We often think about: What am I doing? How am I doing? What kind of person do I want to be?" There are a hundred kinds of answers for individuals, but there is a basic point,that is, to be a civilized person first.

文明是什么?文明是路上相遇时的微笑，是同学有难时的热诚帮助，是平时与人相处时的热情，是见到师长时的问早、问好等等，文明是一种品质，文明是一种涵养，文明是一种受人尊敬并被大家普遍推崇的行为。

What is civility? It is a smile when meeting someone. It is lending your hands when someone is in trouble. It is the greetings when they meet the teacher, etc. It is a kind of quality. It’s a good manners we all need to learn.

文明的学生，一定是爱学习的人。他对知充满了渴望，在课内课外都是一个主动的学习者，爱发问题、不怕艰苦。

The civilized students must be someone who is full of desire for knowledge,loves to ask questions and is not afraid of hardship.

文明的学生，一定是讲礼貌的人。礼貌用语在他嘴边，他懂得要想别人尊重自己，自己首先要尊敬别人，因为尊重他人与尊重自己同样重要。

The civilized students must be someone who often use the polite words and knows they must respect others first, because they know respecting others is as important as respecting themselves.

文明的学生，一定是有着良好卫生习惯的人。他会自发保护校园环境，因为他懂得环境是大家的环境，把美妙留给大家。

The civilized students must be someone with good habits. He knows to us how important the environment is.

同学们，让我们从现在做起，从自己做起，从点点滴滴的小事做起，养成良好的文明习惯，做文明学生，创和谐校园!
