Keiko is one of the most famous animals in the world because he is a film star. Keiko was caught in the ocean near Iceland 20 years ago, when he was two years old. He was then sold to an amusement park in Mexico.

Killer whales are very clever and they can learn to do tricks. Keiko was so good at performing tricks, that in 1993, he was taken to American to star in the film Free Willy. The film tells the story of a boy and his friendship with a killer whale.
